This is a complete introductory Oceanography & Marine Biology curriculum designed for homeschool students ages 9–12. It can be used as a stand-alone science course or as an enrichment course alongside another science program.
The course is organized into 15 weekly modules, each containing five engaging video lessons, companion workbook activities, quizzes, and discussion prompts designed specifically for homeschool students.
Most video lessons are 5–15 minutes long, making them easy to fit into your homeschool schedule. Each lesson is accompanied by guided workbook activities, supplemental videos or readings (when appropriate), and discussion or writing prompts that reinforce key concepts while encouraging critical thinking and communication skills.
Each new account will have full access to the program for 1 year.
Nope! The course assumes no previous knowledge of oceanography or marine biology. Concepts are introduced gradually using age-appropriate language.
Most families spend 1½–3 hours per week completing five lessons, workbook activities, and optional discussions. Families can move faster or slower depending on their schedule.
Yes. Students can complete lessons whenever it fits their schedule. While the curriculum is organized into 15 weekly modules, you may complete it at your own pace during your one-year access period.
Most activities require only common household items such as paper, pencils, colored pencils, rulers, and occasional inexpensive materials. Any additional supplies are listed in advance. A physical copy of the workbooks can be purchased through Amazon.
Digital companion workbooks are included with the course + digital material product. Printed companion workbooks and answer keys are also available separately through Amazon if you decide to only purchase the video course.
Individual modules covering selected topics are also available if you'd like to explore one area before purchasing the complete curriculum. Please click the "Course" button at the very top of the page.
That's up to you! However, at the end of the course, only one student's name will be listed on the Completion Certificate. If you'd like to have multiple children take the course, send me an email and I'll provide a steep discount code to purchase an additional copy.
